FTTC is an internet connection that is based on a combination of fibre optic and copper cable.
It is delivered to your premises via a copper Analogue/PSTN telephone line exactly the same as ADSL is. From the local cabinet or exchange it then uses fibre optic out onto the wider network enabling much faster speeds.

FTTP is fibre optic cable installed directly to your premises. This eliminates copper technology altogether to provide stable speeds and a more reliable service.
